In every part of the world, when people enjoy a beverage from a metal can, it's almost certain it was processed on a Belvac machine. Each year, an estimated 200 billion beverage cans are produced using Belvac Production Production Machinery, Inc. systems. It is estimated that nearly all of the 5,000 machines built in the last 20 years, by Belvac, are still operating.

Headquartered in Lynchburg, Virginia, Belvac is the international leader in the production of systems that provide beverage canmakers with high-speed trimming, necking, base reprofiling and reforming, shaping, bottom rim coating, flanging and inspection technology. Belvac is responsible for numerous advances in canmaking technology enabling its customers to steadily increase line speeds, improve quality and productivity, significantly reducing container costs.

Belvac has now utilized its core metal container competency to engineer and manufacture high-speed, precision machinery solutions for the plastic container industry creating a product line of rotary bottle trimmer/finishers for PET (plastic material primarily used in a soft drink container) and related plastics. Initially designed for the wide mouth PET container industry, Belvac's technology has similar application to various polyolefin containers. The Modular Manufacturing System allows for multiple operations to be directly linked into a single machine system, thus reducing container handling conveyors, floor space and utilities.

Belvac has been part of the Dover family of companies since 1993.
