Warn Industries employees donate to Clackamas-based Charity

The employees of Clackamas-based off-road equipment manufacturer Warn Industries have donated $11,086 to the Clackamas Service Center, a local non-profit charity that provides food and other resources to support low-income people in Clackamas County move towards self-sufficiency.

The contribution was made by the Warn Employee Community Impact Project (WECIP). It was supported by a matching grant from the philanthropic arm of Warn Industries' parent company, Dover Corporation. The Dover Foundation helps support not-for-profit organizations, causes, and/or projects that benefit the local communities in which its operating companies are located.

Warn Industries’ Bryon Borntrager, Engineering Manager and WECIP member, presented Debra Mason, Executive Director at the Clackamas Service Center, the check for $11,086 on November 16. The organization has since used the funds to pay for renovations and bathroom upgrades at the facility. This included new drywall, flooring, and code compliance.

"We are pleased to have selected the Clackamas Service Center as this year's organization to benefit from this program in our community," said John Stransky, President of Warn Industries, which is headquartered in Clackamas. "The WECIP team has done a fantastic job raising money for the Clackamas Service Center, and Dover Corporation's generous match let us give back even more to our local community."

WECIP is composed of Warn Industries employees who contribute money via voluntary payroll deductions and hold regular events, such as bake sales, lunch barbecues, t-shirt sales, and spring plant sales to raise funds for the program.
