Members of the Finance and Accounting teams at Dover Corporate in Downers Grove recently participated in a Q3 volunteer event at Lyman Woods, a local nature center near the Corporate office. Park district facilities such as Lyman Woods often rely on volunteer efforts to help maintain their facilities and land. The teams contributed multiple hours of service across several projects to ensure the local community can continue to visit and enjoy the preserve.
Their work included transporting and spreading mulch across two areas of the preserve, pulling weeds and trimming back vegetation. Through these hands-on projects, the teams helped maintain the space and make a visible difference throughout the preserve.
Giving back to the communities where Dover employees live and work is an important part of our commitment to making a positive local impact. This volunteer event provided an opportunity for team members to connect outside of the workplace while donating their time to the Downers Grove community.
