In mid-November 2014, 15 Dover Human Resource representatives participated in a Junior Achievers Career Day event at Herrick Middle School on Middaugh Avenue in Downers Grove, IL. Over 70 eighth grade students signed up for the Engineering & Manufacturing presentations in which Dover participated.
The Dover HR team was able to provide insight through a Q&A session into our businesses and how our products have an impact in their lives. To keep the sessions exciting, the group played a little game called, 'Shark Tank' and "Doverized" it. The future Engineer and Manufacturing minds were at their best in this fun, competitive activity. We all had so much fun, it was truly a wonderful way to give back to the community.
